Once again we wish to thank Pam Lefever for introducing us to another special puppy and breeder Debra Decker.  Lucas has such a lovely personality, amazing structure and breed type.  We look forward to a promising future with Lucas.

Lucas attends one day at the Seaway shows in Niagara Falls where from the junior puppy dog class he captures "Best of Breed" over the class dogs/bitches owner/handled.

The next show was in Kitchener where once again performed well going best of opposite sex over specials, and best puppy in breed.

We continue on to the Scarborough shows where on Saturday Lucas wins Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Group then ends the day with "BEST PUPPY IN SHOW".  All this at just nine months and one week of age!  Thank you to Carol Graham for awarding "Lucas" BPIS, and her lovely  critique on our special boy.  Sunday Lucas continues to collect points towards his championship going winners dog / best of opposite sex / best puppy.

Lucas continues his winning ways at Ontario County Kennel Club in Orono, Ontario.  Here all three days he captured Winners Dog, and on Sunday he was also Best Puppy in Group!

Our next trip was to Kingston Ontario where on Friday Lucas obtains his championship going Winners Dog / Best Puppy in Breed.  Also on Saturday and Sunday Lucas continued to capture Best Puppy in Breed on each of these separate days.

Watch as Lucas continues to be shown this summer by either Simon Briggs or Colleen Skelton.

Lucas exceeded all that we ever hoped for in a puppy during his show career....it was truly wonderful and we couldn't be happier with our boy!
He finished up his last week of showing winning five puppy groups in a row, including another Best Puppy in Show.  Along with that he also picked up a group 3rd in some very tough adult competition.  We wish to thank Simon Briggs for all the professional care and attention he showed Lucas.

Lucas made a return trip to the rings with Simon for the Purina Puppy Classic held in Sudbury.  Here puppies up to two years of age who had each won a minimum of a "BEST PUPPY IN GROUP".  However most had won "BEST PUPPY IN SHOW" wins.  It was truly a wonderful site to see such lovely dogs.  Each dog was judged individually by three separate judges, and scored accordingly.  The top four dogs were called back into the ring, and awards were handed out forth backwards to first place.  We were "thrilled" when Lucas was awarded first place in the "Sporting group".
