Ripley is a very handsome boy, who stands 23 1/4 inches tall and weighs 75 lbs. He carries a rich lustrous medium golden coat, has black pigmentation and good bone. Ripley has an absolutely beautiful head with pleasing expression, remarkably like his sire. He has a correct scissors bite with no missing teeth. Structurally, Ripley has a good shoulder, strong neck blending well into a solid top line with good tail set. Ripley is a very well balanced dog with beautiful angles front and rear. This true gentlemen is a magnificent example of ideal Golden Retriever temperament. When visiting you will see him playing with everyone, from young puppies up to and including mature boys and girls. Ripley was selectively campaigned in Canada throughout 2002 with great success, becoming # 3 Golden Retriever with limited showing. He is rarely defeated for the breed and most often seen doing exceptionally well at the group level, winning many groups along the way. At home Ripley is adored by our family and friends. Ripley now enjoys retirement at home with us where he is loved, and will remain forever.
